The Destry's and I went to a wedding for my Jazzercise friend Lexi. It was a beautiful day and the wedding was perfect. We had a wonderful time hanging out eith Michelle, Kim and Tara.

Are You Ready for Some Football?

We are two weeks into Jr's first football season and let me tell you, he loves to watch. Don't get me wrong, he'd try to watch anything if we let him, but he really checks out the TV when football is on. He definitely get this from me since Tiff usually sleeps through the games. Although, the way the Seahawks have played the last two weeks, anyone would have a hard time staying awake. As you can see in the last photo below, Jr was quite upset at the Seahawk loss this weekend.

Mmm. Rice Cereal

It's not Rice Crispies but we started Jr on rice cereal last weekend. I was a bit nervous after hearing stories from others. So, how did it go? Pretty dang good! The first time we fed him was like he had been doing it for years. Don't get me wrong, he still makes a mess but we could not be more thrilled at how well he has been doing. He really seems to like it, however, he appears to like getting fed by Tiff way more than from me. The pictures with him making faces or turning away, that's me feeding him.

Labor Day Weekend - Episode II

On Sunday, we spent the day with family and friends (and those of you who know the Johnson's know that this means no less than a dozen people). Also, some friends of ours, Mark and Nicole came out to spend the day. It was great to see them since the last time we did was when Tiff was still pregnant. Again, we had fun visiting with everyone, eating, etc. Mark, Nicole, Tiff and I also took a boat ride on the lake. It was so nice as the weather was great. Monday afternoon, Tiff and I went home while Jr stayed out at the lake with G & G for another night. Tiff and I used the time to get some cleaning done at our place.

Labor Day Weekend - Episode I

Hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend. We spent the weekend with family and friends at the cabin. Jr went down Friday afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa while Tiff and I went down that night after work. On Saturday, a bunch of Tiff's friends from college and their children came to the cabin and spent the afternoon. We hung out, BBQ'd, played in the water and just had a lot of fun catching up since we had not seen many of them in a while. It was great to see you all and were glad that each of you were able to come. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Four Month Checkup

Destry Jr had his four month checkup today. He weighed in at 15lbs 4oz and was 25 3/8 in long, 55th percentile for each. Like his mother, he has a tiny melon, only 30th percentile there. He started to roll over from front to back on Monday and is now quite good at it. I have added new photos in the August gallery.

Destry Jr's First Boat Ride

As most of you know, Tiff's dad lives and breaths waterskiing. One of the gifts Tiff got at her shower was an infant lifejacket. This last weekend we went out to the cabin and Destry Jr tested out his jacket. We went for a 15 minute boat ride on the lake and he had a good time.
We had a great time at the cabin spending time with family. Destry Jr even stayed there with grandma and grandpa Sunday and Monday night. It was our first time without him for that long of time. We missed him a lot and were glad to finally see him Tuesday night.

Tiff Joined the Circus

Not really. Saturday was her company's picnic at Remlinger Farms. They had lots of fun toys to play on but this was the only one she tried.

He Did it Again

For the second time, Destry Jr rolled over, and again, he did it when no one was watching. I was even in the same room as him. He was playing on the floor and it looked over and he was on his tummy. He's so sneaky!
