Mariners - Red Sox

On Wednesday night we dropped Destry Jr off for a evening with Grandma Johnson while we went to the Mariners - Red Sox game. The M's are not the best team in baseball this year (actually, they are the worst team in baseball) but they won 1-0. We had a great time as it was our first game in about three years. Plus, Tiff's company had bought a bunch of tickets so she was able to see a lot of her co-workers. And to top it off, the owners of her company threw out the first pitch.

Week Five - Destry Jr is One Month Old

Wow, how time flies. We cannot beleive that it has already been one month. It seems like Destry Jr is getting bigger by the day and he should be, the kid loves to eat! He has really been good for the most part. He has his meltdowns every night from about 10:00 to 12:00. Once he finally calms down and goes to sleep, he is great. He usually only wakes up once during the night around 4-5:00 and has even slept through the night twice. I have posted week five pictures in the gallery.

Week Four

Sorry about the "Week" posts but I am trying to catch up. I think my mom is a baby whisperer...she was so much help. Destry Jr. does not like to go to bed when we do but she was always able to get him down. We were really glad that they were able to come up and spend the week with us. We miss them already, actually we miss them every night about 12:00 when he won't go to sleep. Thank you mom and dad for coming up, we really enjoyed your visit and really appreciate all your help. Destry Jr. had a weigh-in on Wednesday and was 7lbs 1oz. He has gained 19oz in 19 days. He now has his daddy's double chin. We also had some portraits taken on Thursday. Week Three

Grandma and Grandpa Lee arrived on Friday. It is very nice to have some extra help around. Tiff and I were able to get away for a few hours to run some errands on Saturday. Thank you mom and dad. On Sunday we went to Tiff's parent's cabin for Mothers Day. Most of her family were there and many got to see Destry Jr. for the first time. Check out the photos from week three in the gallery.

One Week

Well we survived the first week. He has actually been pretty good. We got home on Thursday afternoon. He had an apointment with the pediatrician on Friday and another one today. Everything looks good, he is a bit on the small side. Our nights have been pretty good with the exception of a few bad ones. I posted some more photos from our first week. Destry Rides Again

On April 22 at 9:21 pm, after a dramatic day, another Destry entered the world. Destry Jack Lee, Jr. was 6 lbs. 6 oz. and was 20 inches long. He appears to have brown hair with possible red highlights. He is absolutely amazing! Mom and baby are both doing great. Unfortunately, I am unable to post pictures until we get home from the hospital tomorrow. We already have a ton of photos, so I have a lot of work to do. I hopefully will post some tomorrow.

Countdown!??

As you can see, we have passed our due date. We are currently four days overdue. We saw the doctor on Friday, she said that everything looks good. We have another appointment on Wednesday, if he hasn't come by then.

Last Game?

Last night we went to the last Sonics home game (hopefully it wasn't the last game in Seattle). We had a great time visiting with friends, watching a great game (the Sonics won, that didn't happen much this year), I was attacked by Squatch and Tiff pinched Lofa Tatupu's butt.

I Can't Believe I Forgot

I can't believe I forgot to write about our ultrasound a few weeks ago. Everything went well and we even got a glimpse of what he looks like. Here is a picture.

The First Family Photo

Well, sort of. Tiff and I got our pictures taken this weekend. I am just glad that we were able to do it before he was born. We kept putting it off and I was afraid we would be too late. We also put up curtains in the baby's room (just finished tonight) and got a mattress today. Except for the dresser and hanging stuff up on the walls we are pretty much done with his room. Tiff is still doing great. She still works out twice a week (nine months pregnant and still works out more than me, I am pathetic). Nine days to go until the due date but we think we will go past it (his daddy was more than three weeks late). Here are some photos from our portrait sitting.
