October

Growing up in Idaho and living in Seattle for the last 10 years I have noticed something. The seasons just feel different in each place with one exception, during the month of October. In both places, October just feels like fall in all the same ways. I'm not really a big fan of fall; summer is nine months away, the weather starts to get colder and the days start getting shorter. However, there are many great things; football is in full swing, the baseball playoffs have started, the leaves start changing and best of all, us new parents get to dress our little ones in funny costumes to embarrass them when they grow up.
