1st Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Destry's 1st Birthday with a small party with a few family and friends. When he woke up this morning he was a bit cranky. He felt really hot and was running a temperature. He took a long nap and was feeling a little better by the time everyone arrived. Still, he was just not himself today, normally very active and outgoing, he was more quiet and clingy. After visiting with everyone for a while, we opened presents and then he dug into his cake. I think he liked the frostng more than the cake and as expected, he made quite a mess. His actual birthday is on Wednesday and we have another party planned with the whole family at the cabin next weekend. Hopefully he feels better by then. He are some pictures from his first party.
